Short Hair Inspiration for Spring `18
At last the hold of winter is starting to weaken and this week the spring sunshine is breaking through. The lighter days and small bursts of sunlight are getting us all excited for our spring wardrobe and with that comes the time for a freshening up our hair also. This season its all about short hair and here are some short cuts we are digging for SS '18.
Pixie Cut with curl
A beautiful low-maintenance haircut for people with a natural curl. This style really stands out on people with Heart, Oval and Rectangular face shapes.
This cut is hot right now, especially because its so flexible in length and styling, whilst suiting a lot of different hair and face types. To achieve this style, product is the important key to unlocking this look. Use a texturising product, like Label. m Texturising Volume Spray. If you have totally straight hair, create a bit of movement by bending small sections of hair around a curling tong. Focus on the mid lengths, not the ends, to get the correct result.
A chic version of the A-shape haircut, which you can take advantage of if you have super curly afro style hair. The length is really what makes this haircut, so don`t chicken out and go for a length which ends just below the chin.
Timeless and elegant, this haircut is best for straight, flat hair. Jazz up your look for a night out by curling the ends in four large sections. Separate each section and curl the two front sections inwards towards the face and the back two sections outwards away from the face.
Wavy and curly, this bob is best when texturised, like the Texturised Bob, this look needs product to get the best result. It's a super sexy silhouette, really showing off the neck, which is created by graduating the hair at the back of the head.
ThE MODERN TWIGGY
Twiggy's haircut of the 1960s is of course a classic, but if you want a modern spin, Michelle Williams is a perfect example to take inspiration from. A chic look, perfect for straight hair types and great for all age groups. The side sweep is what makes the look, so set the hair into a side parting and blow-dry each section in the direction you want it to sit. To add a little extra volume, like Michelle, take small sections of hair and blast hot air at the roots, before flattening the hair into the right direction.
